Villeray in Transition is a citizen group born from the international movement of Cities in Transition. It acts primarily at the level of the neighborhood on issues of global warming and peak oil. Breaking the oil, of course, requires that the organization works towards a more local, friendly and healthy environment. While the challenge is important, it is not to reinvent. It is beginning to apply known solutions to the problem, consistent with the scale of our community.
